Meeting the Moment #3: CLTs and Reparations: Advancing Racial Justice Through Land, Policy and Practice
Tues, June 30, 2026, 12-1:30pm PT –

Register here
This workshop is part of CACLTN’s Meeting the Moment: Solidarity with Marginalized Communities series. With the release of the California Reparations Report in 2023, the California Reparations Task Force made dozens of recommendations to redress the role of slavery and systemic racial harm, including direct financial assistance to increase Black homeownership and restore access to land unjustly taken. This virtual roundtable invites participants to explore the role of, and impact on, CLTs in advancing these reparative goals, particularly in addressing segregation and displacement.
Moderator: Tamika L’Ecluse, Sacramento CLT
Speakers: Chris Lodgson, Coalition for Just and Equitable California (CJEC) | Princess Robinson, RichmondLAND | Paul Elder, Liberty CLT | Eric Avery,  H.E.L.L.A Co-Lab

Financial Scenario Planning with Nonprofit Finance Fund
Tues, July 21, 2026, 12-1pm PT –

Register here
Effectively planning for the future requires nonprofit leaders to imagine possible scenarios and determine how their organizations would respond. This NFF session will show participants how to incorporate scenario planning into their budget, allowing an organization’s leadership team and board to understand budget implications for various “what-ifs” and create plans of action. Participants will learn how to quantify the unknown, develop budget scenarios for possible future challenges or uncertainty, identify key drivers of change, assess revenue and expense variability, and prepare for both best- and worst-case scenarios.

Facilities Preparedness with Nonprofit Finance Fund
Tues, Oct. 20 2026, 12-1pm PT –

This session is intended to provide a basic introduction to nonprofit leaders who are new to real estate and will help organizations understand their financial preparedness for facility acquisition and upkeep. NFF will review foundational terms and processes of real estate development, share how to conduct an early-stage assessment of your organization’s financial readiness for launching a facility project, and provide a set of tools and resources to support your organization’s interest in real estate.
